Giant Henry VIII

Class D had a bit of an art attack moment!!!  We turned a very famous painting of Henry VII into a HUGE version to put on our wall in the classroom.

First we split the painting into lots of little sections.  We each had a line drawn version and colour version of our section of the grid.  We looked really carefully to copy the colours and patterns that we could see on the colour version.

We could choose how we wanted to colour our sections.  We used oil pastels, water colour paints and pencil crayons.

Lastly we put all the tiny little pieces back together and…… voila!
